Weekend Family Clinic

Family Clinics provide a relaxing and comfortable space for you and your child to meet and talk with Amanda, your homeopathic practitioner. the weekend family clinic provides a space outside of the hectic school/work week, allowing time to focus on issues concerning your child's health or behaviour.

What should I expect?

Your initial appointment will last for 90 minutes, providing yourself and Amanda the time to explore the essential information concerning your child's health, habits and obstacles.

Can I talk to you alone?

Yes. We can arrange to split your appointment if talking in front of your child is too difficult. If you have a partner, grandparent of friend who can accompany you, they can wait with your child in the reception area. Once we have covered the essential information we can invite your child to join us.

What happens next?

Your first in-depth consultation combined with your completed health form, helps Amanda to establish a foundation of understanding of you and your child's personal situation and provides the basis on which to begin an effective, treatment plan.

How long will it take to receive the first prescription?

Prescriptions may take up to one week after your appointment before being dispensed. Once your prescription has arrived, please read the instruction sheet carefully and contact Amanda if you are unsure of any aspect.

Can I contact you afterwards?

Once treatment is underway, you can send update messages to Amanda via WhatsApp to ensure close monitoring in the early stages.

When will I see you again?

3-4 weeks after your initial appointment. Your first follow up appointment can take place from the comfort of your home via zoom, or in person at the Therapy & Lifestyle Clinic.

 Individual Appointments

Do you treat adults aswell?

Yes. Individual appointments are available to book at a time that suits you at the Therapy & Lifestyle Clinic. Your first appointment will last for 90 minutes and will cover your physical, mental and emotional health. Assessments are in depth and personally tailored to cover your personal condition

I don't live locally and I don't like to travel. Can I still book?

Yes. Zoom consultations are available for booking.

What will we talk about about?

We will cover all aspects that concern you and you are free to talk about anything that you want to talk about. Sometimes I may ask you tell me more about certain situations and sometimes I may ask you seemingly strange questions.

Do you treat mental health conditions aswell as physical illnesses?

Yes. Homeopathy is extremely effective at treating a range of mental health conditions such as Anxiety, OCD, Depression and ADHD.

Why do you want to know about things unrelated to my condition?

My aim is to understand you fully and to pin point the correct approach for treatment. I achieve this by obtaining as much detail as possible about all aspects of your life. Homeopathy is a holistic approach and treats you as a person, rather than your condition.

Is everything I say confidential?

Yes. All of the information shared is confidential. I will email a copy of my data protection policy along with your patient information form.

How long will it take until I receive my first prescription?

Following on from your appointment, I will take a couple of days to analyse your case before making a decision on how to proceed. In most cases, I will post your prescription to you shortly after this, but at times when the correct prescription is not readily available, I may need to wait 7 days before posting it.

How will you know if the treatment is affective?

I use a MYMOP scoring system to provide you and myself with a clear indication of the progress being made. This method of scoring symptoms allows me to adjust your prescription where necessary, and provides you with confidence that the direction of cure is where we want it to be.

When will my next appointment be?

Follow up appointments take place 3-4 weeks after your initial consultation. These may take place on zoom or in person. Your follow up appointments will last between 30-45 minutes.

What happens at my next appointment?

Within this time we will re-connect and explore the unfolding of events and monitor the progress in your symptoms. I will take the time to re-assess your prescription and amend if necessary and advise you of any additional supplements you may wish to consider taking.

Can I contact you in between appointments?

I offer a WhatsApp messenger service. Using a text service enables me to update your records with progress reports and ensures that I will never miss a 'call'. I may not respond immediately but will endeavor to respond the same day.

Can I contact you in an emergency?

I do not offer an emergency service.  If you have any concerns please contact your GP or dial 111 or 999.
